I am here to support everyone in everything. Whatever I can do to help, I will, but I mainly focus on duties pertaining to the “back office.” Financial accounts, bookkeeping, payroll and marketing comprise much of my work. My favorite part of the job is designing ads and brochures. I’ve designed all our pamphlets, business cards, brochures, and a variety of media in all business campaigns. In addition, I handle all office communications and requirements in compliance with state and federal regulations.
From 2001-2006 I was an originator of loans myself, and did some contract closings, to boot; so, I know a thing or two about mortgages! After I left the industry (for five years), I honed in on other accounting skills: auditing personal financials and generating wage reports (for a human services agency). Now that I’m back, I’m re-learning a lot of new things because so much has changed due to new regulations and standards. However, I am so pleased to see a lot of the same faces from a decade ago within this not-so-small world of mortgages comprised of wholesale lender account execs, title reps, processors, underwriters, appraisers, realtors, and of course, loan officers. I’m so happy to be back!
